Volvo Group displays latest introductions at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020
The company cancelled travel due to Covid-19, but its completed booth impressed attendees
While Volvo Group did not have the full CONEXPO presence it had hoped, the company's expansive booth was completed for attendees to check out the latest Volvo introductions and was well trafficked throughout the show.
Equipment on the stand included the EC300E hybrid excavator; the new Volvo VHD 300 vocational truck in dump body and mixer configurations; Volvo's first electric compact excavator and wheel loader; multiple ADTs; a 105-ton rigid hauler; the company's largest excavator, the EC950F; and a further assortment of excavators, 8-foot pavers, wheel loaders and more.
The Volvo Group's Terex Trucks and SDLG brands also had a presence at the show.
The Gold Rush excavator, recently auctioned off by Ritchie Bros. to a buyer in Belgium, was another popular attraction at the booth.
During CONEXPO, Volvo CE announced Volvo Active Control, an automated grading machine control system currently available on the EC220E, EC250E and EC300E crawler excavators.
